NDIS SPECIAL NEEDS BALANCE BIKES

NDIS BIKES FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES

Too often people with cognitive or developmental disabilities have been unable to ride a bike or have been told by doctors and other health care providers that they will never be able to ride a bike. With the proper bike and a proven method to learn, this is changing!

For several years now, parents of children with special needs and NDIS support have been approaching Kidvelo and letting us know how life-changing our range of balance bikes has been for their children. Kidvelo’s range of lightweight balance bikes is providing a means for inclusive social interaction and play. Suddenly, a child that had previously been sitting on the porch while the other children in the neighborhood rode their bikes is now riding right alongside their peers, grinning ear to ear.

Kids and adults of all abilities can experience riding a bike with special needs bicycles. Adaptive bikes are specifically designed for people with physical and developmental disabilities. They offer an enhanced sense of freedom and mobility to those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and more. These vehicles strengthen coordination, balance, and other skills in an accessible way.
There are options for all ages, from toddlers to adults. If traditional pedaling is difficult, you can get a Balance bike to learn balance, control, and steering while helmets and head support provide safety and comfort. With the right assistive products, anyone can benefit from the fun and exercise of a relaxing bike ride.
