Manufacturers Warranty

Our kid’s balance bikes come with a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty is limited to riders weighing less than 30kgs for a 12″ bike, 50kgs for a 14″ bike & 100kgs for our 18″ bike, and 120kgs for a 24″ bike.

Resolving warranty issues is easy. Simply contact nicole@kidvelobikes.com.au and include the following information:

Please explain the issue you’re experiencing with your Kidvelo product.
Attach a digital photo.
Complete shipping address.
Daytime phone number.
Email address.
The Production Date and Batch number of your Bike if applicable.

Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer, whether returning or exchanging.

Please refrain from unpacking and/or assembling if there is a possibility of a return for personal reasons.

If we make a shipping error, such as the wrong colour, style, or size, we will gladly email you a pre-paid return label to send the item back to us for an exchange or refund.

Ordering the wrong size is NOT considered an error on Kidvelo’s part. Please be sure of your choice(s) when making your purchase.

Since we all share the goal of having your child happily riding a bike, we encourage you to call us as we might be able to resolve the issue without returning the product.

Perfect First Bike – my 4 year old was ready to pedal but liked her balance bike too much, despite it being far too small. We decided to buy the Rookie 14 as it was a great 2 in 1 bike for her as she got to build up her confidence on a larger bike in balance format and within 2 months she asked for the pedals to go on. We put the pedals on and she literally just rode off without a second thought 🙂

Having mastered the Rookie 12 balance bike, we upgraded to the Rookie 14 for her birthday. Our 3.5 year old daughter loved the colour and couldn’t wait to get on. We first assembled it as a balance bike but it was quickly apparent she was ready for pedals so we promptly changed it over and within 10 minutes she could ride! This is a super lightweight bike, and it is very easy for our little daughter to handle. This is her first bike. It is great way for her to learn pedalling as she now uses it as a balance bike. It seems to be easy and straightforward to do the conversion when the time comes. Our daugher is very excited about having this bike and she keeps asking us go to the park with it all the time. I’d think she’d score it 10/10!
